Sunday 26th February 2006 - Sidcup Festival U12 Match Report In case you haven't heard the U12 squad went to Sidcup on Sunday and came away as Champions of the u12 age group. Eight clubs took part and the standard was excellent. The squad played their best ever rugby and after 6 years together, thoroughly deserved their first ever tournament victory. Paul D, Paul H and I are so proud of you all. Those who were not selected deserve this just as much because without your support those that went to Sidcup would not have been as good. We need to build on this and there are opportunities for everyone to get into the squad for the next festival. On Sunday everyone played their hearts out but special accolades should go to Paul and Jack R who scored the majority of our tries; Ryan who stole so many opposition line-outs; Jack G who was everywhere and especially Jack M who was captain and led from the front all day long. Results; Maidstone W 6-0 Old Elthamians W 2-1 Beckenham W 5-1 Final Old Dartfordians W 5-0 This Sunday we have practice. I would like everyone to be in the main hall at 10.15 so we can just talk through the festival and reflect on what went well. Please read your prompt cards about our code and style.
