The U12's Coaches (2006/07): Meet the Coaches Paul Harrington U12 Coach Cliff Thorne U12 Coach Under 12 mini rugby is played with 13 players on each side, 6 in the scrum and a full set of 7 backs. They play with a size 4 ball on a pitch which is approximately half that of a normal full size pitch. The Under 12’s at Beccs is a fairly strong section and have reached a number of semi-finals at a number of Festivals over the years. They narrowly missed out on progressing through to the main Kent Cup competition during 2002/3 on try count-back, but reached the final of the Plate where they were runners-up narrowly loosing by the only try scored in the match. Training/Coaching sessions for all age groups are held at the club every Sunday during the season starting at 10.30 am. New playing members and parents are welcome to join at any time!
