KENT VASE SEMI-FINAL CUP GAME - Guys & St Thomas vs Beccehamians - 1st May 2005 Result: Won 18-33 A wealth of supporters turned out to support Beccs 1st XV in their Cup semi-final against Guys and St. Thomas. The guys didn't disappoint scoring two very quick tries in the first five minutes to dominate the first half. Guys reorganised and managed to pull back with a converted try shortly before half time. (Half time score 18-10). Beccs pulled together as a team in the second half determined to hold on and despite being reduced to 14 men continued to control the game and take the match. The final Score being 18-33. The Final is THIS SUNDAY 8th May against Dover RFC at Ashford RFC. KO is 2pm All supporters are welcome. A coach has been organised for the players as well as a separate one for the supporters. Therefore, anyone wishing to confirm a seat on the 49 seater then please let Dean Francis know asap. The supporters coach will be leaving the club at 12.30pm, and the bar will be open from 11.30am for those needing refreshment. The coaches will then leave Ashford by 5.30pm for a few beers back at the club. If demand is high another coach may be booked. A £5 donation for each supporter will be collected on the day.
