1st May 2005 - U13 Bromley District Squad
U13 Bromley District Side retaining the inter-Borough Cup. Beccs players are wearing the new black club polo shirt.
Congratulations to 10 Beccs players who were selected into the Bromley District side this year. This is an absolutely fantastic achievement as players are selected on the basis of any boy who either resides, goes to school or playes for a club in the Bromley Borough. The Bromley District Side is also part of the preliminary selection process for Kent and to get 10 lads into the squad of 30 is brilliant - well done.
The lads also played in an inter-Borough Festival held on the 1st May at O.Alleynians RFC. The squad was reduced to 22 for the day and all 10 Beccehamian players were part of this squad of 22. They played a Lewisham/ Greenwich/ Southwark combined Borough side and won 15 - 10 and then went on to beat Bexley Borough 20 - 5 to retain the RAF sponsored cup for the Bromley Borough.
The successful U13's were William Bull, Luke Davey, Luke Edmonds, James Hampton, Elliot Hance, Matthew Lawrence, Matthew Putner, Elliot Sheppard, Henry Smith and Joshua Travers.
