Nigel Putner Youth Chairman   Youth rugby is aimed at introducing the full 15-a-side game to boys. Most of the rules for the full game apply to the various age groups, but vary only slightly in the scrum and line-out areas for safety purposes. For example lifting in the line-out is only allowed from U16 upwards. Over the past 5 seasons Beccehamians have been rebuilding the Youth section and currently run sides at U13, U14 and U16 levels. Training/Coaching sessions for are held at the club every Sunday during the season starting at 10.30 a.m. (see individual age groups for the schedule of training and matches). The club has more than 20 coaches who have qualifications for Youth and Mini rugby coaching.
