Sunday 14th October 2007 Windsor Festival Should have been 5 sides in a league competition, however two sides failed to show leaving us to face Newbury and the hosts Windsor. Our first game was against Newbury who looked like they should have been playing in the U14’s, very strong and with a couple of players missing from our squad we could not contain them. They had some powerful runners and took the game 41-0. Our second game saw a much improved performance with good effort being shown all over the park, but Windsor edged it 12 – 5. Our sole try was scored by Harvey running back an attempted clearance, and going over in the corner. Well done to everyone for making the effort, its good to play new teams that we have never faced before and I am sure we will learn from the experience.
