Sunday 13TH January 2008 Beccehamians 7 v Dartfordians 0 Cold and windy nothing new at Sparrows Den, and an early start against Darts who we came across a couple of times last season in Festivals, twice defeating their B’s, so good to face them here in a full 15 a side match which was very evenly contested from the off. In some of our earlier games this season we have often been exploited out wide or around the scrum, today was different. A good defensive line was kept and all players contributed in a hard fought match, we defended as a team that was the difference. Only one try was scored Big Matt breaking the line and running in a great try out wide, and kicking a fantastic conversion just before the break. Good defensive work from both teams in the second half prevented any further scores, a really good win against a strong team well done boys.
