Sunday 21st October 2007 - Beccehamians B 19 - Beckenham B 19

General lack lustre first half to sundays game, the pack never firing despite Jack Murtagh trying to rouse them by leading by example, this is disapointing considering some of the boys played well at Windsor. There were too many missed tackles thoughout the side with the exception of the tackle of the day from Connor Lawrence and Robert Hampton who had a couple of good runs and put in some good tackles. Unfortunatly he was forced to retire shortley before the break after a kick in the back. Beckenham at this point looked like running up a big score.

Half time brought some more changes with injuries to Henry & Mitch with replacements coming off the training ground there was a bit more spark to the side and it took a try by Will Kemp and some individual work and two trys from Harry to equal the score just before the final whistle. A good debut at loose head from Jack Bukler who worked hard all game and Will Kemp worked hard after a couple of weeks out. A solid debut as well from Connor Smart at scrum half, including two conversions.

Overall not a good show. Beckenham probably deserved the win but all credit to the boys for sticking at it and forcing the draw. Room for improvement.
