Under 14 Junior rugby is played with 15 players on each side, 8 in the scrum and a full set of 7 backs. They play with a size 4 ball on a full sized pitch. Most of the rules at this age group and above are the same as the full senior game however there are a few restrictions like no lifting in the line-out and limited pushing and wheeling of the scrum for safety reasons. U14 rugby is played by boys in year 9 at school. The Under 14’s at Beccs is a fairly strong and and hope to build on last seasons success of coming runners up in the Kent Cup in the Kent Festival. Training/Coaching is held at the club every Sunday during the season starting at 10.30 am, please see U14 Fixtures for when training and matches take place. New playing members and parents are welcome to join at any time!
